The heat is stiffling, and yet the blacksmith remains vigilant in his task. The blisters, scars and calluses bear witness to the years he's devoted to his forge. The transformation from raw material to form becomes magical in nature. Everything from shield to spoon, hoplite armor to horseshoe, things noble, things mundane, the smith's craft comes alive.

This site is dedicated to the smith's craft, not dealing in iron or precious metal, but in the words molded and shaped into ideas, stories, poetry, and self-expression. May the sparks of this forge inspire creation and collaboration.
